How I Got Started:
Trevor’s humble beginnings began at the age of five at Carlson Gracie Temecula under the direct guidance of Professor Thomas Cronin, 3rd-degree black belt. Here he began to weave his character and technique. Discipline, hard work, and humility are the foundation for this band of brotherhood on the mat, which ultimately has paved the way in fostering his talent and success.
Training Journey
He naturally evolved into the jiu-jitsu competitive circuit in 2016. His passion for the art has honed his grappling skills, qualifying him for several renowned tournaments in the country and internationally. As a 14-year-old, orange belt, light-feather weight, he is driven to look beyond the horizon to further his craft and attain black belt mastery one day.
During Covid, Trevor had the opportunity to add another grappling discipline: wrestling. Every winter season brings about new challenges and opportunities to add to his game through wrestling at Mantanona Training Center. Developing a ‘won’t quit’ mindset paired with endurance, the sport has helped him evolve and develop a grit and unparalleled work ethic.

What’s Next:
Off the mat, he is often described as a driven, mature, and respectful youth. He enjoys traveling, the outdoors, and strength training. As a gifted scholar, his goal is to continue striving for mastery in all subjects and be awarded an academic or student-athlete scholarship at a university to pursue his passion in mechanical engineering.
This season's goals are to secure a 4x win at IBJJF Con Kids Championship and defend his IBJJ Pan Kids Championship title. Competing internationally in the next year will propel his experience and exposure to other competitors vying for a coveted spot on the podium.
